Job Description


The SAP pre-sales head will have had demonstrated expertise in implementing SAP projects in the past specifically in US region. The candidate must be a functional expert / SME in a specific competency such as Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, proven experience in pre-sales process and a good insight into the entire SAP product landscape. The incumbent shall focus on supporting the sales and delivery team in realizing SAP business revenue goals and supporting value proposition for US region.

The incumbent shall have strong background in selling SAP enterprise solutions backed by a deep understanding of the business problems across functional business areas. The candidate will be key to support continued sales growth for SAP practice in US.

The US SAP pre-sales lead will report to the Global SAP Practice Head driving firm's SAP business and growth in US.

Key role dimensions would include:

Supporting and growing SAP business in US as per target and Go to Market focus;
Meet SAP revenue targets set for US region;
Deliver specific engagements for short time as required and
Work closely with sales team in business endeavors

Essential job functions:

Overall experience of over 12-13 + relevant SAP experience

Demonstrated experience of implemented medium to large SAP delivery engagements.
Has knowledge of and has supported SAP pre-sales process successfully leading to deal closures
Supports SAP practice to acquire new client acquisition as well as grow existing SAP business. This would also include mining current SAP accounts by conversion into AMS projects as well as new SAP services leveraging offshore significantly.
Demonstrate thought leadership to help grow Zensar's as strong SAP services provider for US market
Actively support sales opportunities by leveraging solutions, offerings and services and translate them into strong value proposition for clients and help win most deals.
Coordinates with sales team, practice heads/SMEs as well as delivery leaders to realize planned revenue growth, help define sales and go-to-market strategy, deal budgeting, driving marketing campaigns etc.
Monitor key SAP accounts to ensure new business opportunities and connect with delivery leaders for any concerns.
Demonstrate eminence across various SAP product landscape that complement SAP solutions to support prospect and existing client requirements
Experience in carrying out initial assessment and discovery discussions around client requirements and translate the same into workable SAP solution. This includes leading business case development workshops and carrying out executive interviews.
Work closely with SAP alliance leads to ascertain new solutions, opportunities and any support required.
Demonstrate solutions in line with prospect's needs leveraging strong SAP knowledge and experience
Create and deliver demonstrations, technical presentations, administer questionnaires, respond to RFI and RFPs, define pilot/proof of concept programs etc., as part of pre-sales process.
Strong communication and articulation skills and ability to communicate and drive discussions with senior client executives.

Experience in carrying out project pricing process including handling discount management and strategies effectively as a tool.
