Experience - 6-15 years
Past experience in FMCG/Liquor industry needed.
KEY TASKS/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and ensure implementation of sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of the region within budgeted costs.
Achieve primary and secondary sales ensuring effective distribution of Company's products.
Ensures and monitor of sales development initiatives like Merchandising, shelf norms etc
Ensures Implementation of sales calls per collage norms in retail outlets
This role would be imperative in leading the team to deliver a high standard of market execution, implement strategies from a state level whilst maintaining strong business relationships with key customers
Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
Ensure state teams are constantly educated in Beam code of conduct, local laws, product portfolio, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
Manage the distribution network with periodic monitoring of sales and collections.
Identify and network with distributors for deeper market penetration and reach.
Work closely with dealers and distributors and assist them to promote the company's products.
Plan and monitor new product launches in co-ordination with the Marketing Team.
Analyze market response/requirements and communicate the same to the Marketing team.
Continuously monitor competitor activities, conduct competitor analysis, keep abreast of market trends at on & off premise
KEY SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
Preferably should have handled multi-state/regional level responsibility in previous assignments.
Should have a good understanding of retail and wholesale channels in the previous assignment.
Should have experience/exposure to retail, CSD, on premise sales in the previous assignment.
Should have handled new Brand Launches and its subsequent stages
