Roles and Responsibilities
Planning and Organizing
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
Prepare sales policies and motivational plans for sales team.
Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Overseeing Sales Team
Set examples for Sales Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
Provide necessary sales tools and sales recourses to sales team.
Provide necessary corrective training to improve Sales Executives performance.
Insures that all Sales Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
Measure the performance of sales team based on set standards.
Set Key Performance Indicators for measuring Sales Executives performance.
Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
Provide training to sales team on product, sales skills, dealer operating standards etc.
Recruit well deserving sales resource for contributing to the companys sales development.
Prepare any report requested by top management.
Prepare reports and analysis on effectiveness sales schemes and promotional campaigns.
Prepare reports on performance of sales team.
Prepare reports on sales performance weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Prepare reports on effectiveness of sales strategies.
Maintain database of enquiries received on sales and promotional events.
Maintain database of daily walk-in, telephonic enquiries.
Maintain database of prospective customer and classify them.
Maintain the database of sales trends and customer profiles.
Maintain the database of existing customers and sales records.
Keeping track of new business opportunities and market trends.
Keeping track on competitors pricing and discounts levels.
Keeping track on competitors activities like promotions, sales schemes etc.
Customer Handling Standards
Achieve and exceed customer satisfaction objectives.
Ensure quality after sales follow ups as per dealer standards.
Ensure the quality sales process as per dealer standards.
10-20 Years of Experience in Sales and Marketing.
Competency Skills :
Proven ability to take directions and inputs for developing effective and engaging event branding activities that meet organizational goals, Proven ability of managing and negotiating with vendors
PG - Any Graduate, MBA (sales)
Prior experience in Nigeria or other West African country will be an advantage
Excellent planning and project management skills including report development skills
Willingness to travel globally if and when required
Proficiency in Computer is a must with adequate knowledge of MS Office Suite and hands on Knowledge of ERP Packages.
Proven ability of managing and negotiating with vendors
Proven ability to take directions and inputs for developing effective and engaging event branding activities that meet organizational goals.
Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate budgets and reduce expenses.
