Job Description:

The job consists of working within a cost intelligence strategic alliance and commercial management framework for a major water client & reporting to the Commercial Manager, the candidate will be responsible for delivering/managing water projects, duties include (but are not limited to):

Providing cost intelligence duties,
Preparing valuations,
Internal Cost Reports,
Profit and loss Reports
Costs to complete / Forecasting,
Subcontract Procurement and management,
EWN and CE's Quotes, and Risk Reduction under the NEC 3 with the NECPM,
Commercial Incident Reporting, Health and safety incident reporting,
Environmental incident reporting,
Data Capture, cost modelling and the Completions Process.
Site Visits for Re-measure and Commercial support to sites.
Cost estimates and optioning.

Candidate Specification:

BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar level degree or vocational qualification
Cost intelligence knowledge
Excellent report writing skills
Experience of NEC form of contract
Ability to prioritize and able to work under pressure
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
Good presentation and communication skills
Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work
Technical awareness and able to work with some support to deliver all pre and post contract service delivery and to solve problems
Proactive and self-motivated
Effective time management - efficient and adding value to projects
Customer focused - ability to engage in building sound relationships with the customer project team.
