The Project Manager will be involved in all aspects of the project life cycle through the various stages of design to delivery of the port project -Management and coordination of engineering teams, project controls and planning resources-Management of engineering studies, project design teams and sub-consultants and managing client relationships.
Undertaking the duties and obligations as necessary to achieve the satisfactory delivery of the project on time, within the approved budget and required quality - Lead effective communication across the delivery of the project, client and stakeholder team - Provide well founded advice and guidance to members of your project team - Securing opportunity and repeat business through the high quality of your team service delivery

Candidate Specification:

Chartered degree qualified in Civil Engineering and ideally an MSc along with 25 years of professional experience - minimum 10-15 years of working on similar ports/port operations projects - have significant professional experience in Management of design teams for ports, port operations and container terminals - experienced in regards to liaising with client and building strong relationships - experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams - track record of ensuring programme performance and delivery - extensive people management skills including development and mentoring - track record of experience in a consultancy with extensive exposure to client-facing work - personable, approachable and with excellent presentation and communications skills - previous international experience is preferred as is Middle East port experience .
