Manage a team of Firmware engineers and responsible for software development, system engineering, R&D with work exposure on software, hardware and other engineering discipline.
Create own project charter and collaborate with the Japanese team for own roadmap.
Work with Japanese team to get requirements and then defining plans to development.
Plan, allocate resources, assign tasks and direct activities of the team to meet aggressive schedules and achieve milestone criteria.
Propose creative, innovative methodology and process initiatives to consistently improve quality and productivity
Create Technology roadmap, Mid Term Plan, Technical proposal, Solution architecture, quality optimization, process improvement.
Provide coaching, guidance and feedback to direct reports on career development, performance and productivity issues
Build a strong and technically vital organization.
At least 12+ years of technical management experience in leading a team.
At least 8+ years of hands on industry experience in transforming new and established business needs into technology results, leading high-visibility projects, and driving process improvement & quality initiatives.
Experience in Firmware, Embedded, Communication, RTOS, OSS, Multimedia, Healthcare and Document&Print technology.
Wide background covers research and development in new business developments, expertise & competency building.
Responsible for managing project in the area of multimedia and display technology.
Should have good knowledge of firmware project development life cycles
Experience of working in foreign countries (US, Europe, Japan)
PMP will be a major plus but not mandatory.
Knowledge of Japanese language is plus.
