To be responsible for defining Application SW specification & HW & SW interface document based on vehicle feature list / Engine specification.
To be responsible for Application SW Development & Integration with Base SW of ECU.
To be responsible for Development of Model based Application SW development for Powertrain ECUs/Body ECUs & Instrument Cluster.
To be responsible for carrying out MIL Testing (Model in Loop) with supplier.
To be responsible for testing of application SW in vehicle/Bench.
To be responsible for Conducting ASIL review (Automotive Safety and integrity Level), Design Reviews, System DFMEAs, and Design Verifications Reviews.
To be responsible for defining test cases & validating CAN messages in Hardware in Loop (HIL).
To be responsible for execution within timelines and achieving development milestones during Vehicle development.
To be responsible for functional/component level Calibration.
To be responsible for Technical documentation.
Maximum 2-5 years of working experience in the related field of application SW (Tier 1 & Tier 2 Companies) development is required for this position.
Should have knowledge on Model Based Development (Matlab & Simulink) & Embedded C programming.
Should have knowledge about new technology in automotive vehicles, e.g. AUTOSAR / RP1210, etc.
Should have knowledge in ECU Testing / HIL / Calibration tools like ETAS /MARC / VISU
Should have knowledge on In-vehicle networking CAN (ISO 11898) / K Line (ISO 9141) / SAE J1939, Functional safety standard ISO 26262.
Should possess knowledge of automotive electronic control systems - Functional, design aspects, application & integration.
Should have excellent communication skills. Ability to work with Tier 1 Supplier to achieve the required functional/cost/weight/timing & quality objectives.
