Switch Mode Power Supply [SMPS] application engineer with 5+ years of experience to be part of 16-bit micro controller applications group.
Responsibilities include :
Development of digital control software and strategies for various SMPS topologies
Hands on experience in testing the hardware that meets the latest specifications/standards.
Validating and developing the state of the art SMPS reference designs.
Development of mathematical models and simulate using tools like MATLAB
Support Customers, and field application teams on design and development of Microchip products
Develop collateral such as application notes, technical briefs, technical articles and reference designs for new products and peripherals
Support post silicon Validation and Debug , also support with release to production with collateral and tools
Development of technical training materials and presenting on various forums.
Be able to read and interpret written specifications and implement software solutions from those specifications
Be able to read and analyze schematics and develop software to support it.
Candidate should be self-motivated, goal oriented and meets the following requirements:
Must have a degree in electrical and Electronics engineering and specialization in power electronics (or similar) with experience in digital power electronics hardware and software design.
Must have experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, frequency analysers, etc.
Must have strong working experience in Microcontrollers with good knowledge of peripherals like PWM, ADC, CMP, Amplifiers and I2C, SPI, UART etc.
Must have experience with programming in embedded assembly and C programming languages
Must have detailed understanding of Analog and digital circuit design and debugging
Must work well in a team environment and have excellent written and verbal skills in English
