Roles and Responsibilities:-
Responsible for technology presales activities.
Works with proposal team to edit content / perform quality writing and create impactful proposals
Collaborates with proposal section owners and subject matter contributors to assist in improving communications impact and proposal content quality
Builds skills and knowledge in a particular industry for industry relevant content
Finds and customizes intellectual capital to reflect specific client concerns and vendor selection criteria
Collaborates with other STAKEHOLDERS, including Proposal Manager, Enterprise Solution Architect, Sales and Delivery team members.
Interfaces with aligned Compunnel functions (i.e. Sales, Legal, Quality Assurance, Pricing, etc.) and Technology Sales, Business and Technical personnel
Gathers knowledge of the proposed Compunnel solution and its associated client- specific value proposition, and develops concepts into technically accurate, client- focused, benefits- oriented proposal content and graphics.
Specific tasks: Develop proposal sections and Executive Summary (or elements), Scope, Functional Approach, Project execution methodology, Background of the project etc.
Perform editing and proofreading and perform quality check for client deliverables
Collaborate / communicate, participate in strategy sessions
Demonstrate leadership and work proactively with internal teams
Assist Sales Managers with Proposal Process / Manage Proposals
Gain client knowledge and business acumen / understand Compunnel business development strategies, industries and key market plays
Exp. in responding RFP/RFQ/RFI.
Experience writing Proposals mapped to customer requirements; Work closely with the Sales team to write proposals mapped to specific customer requirements and Request for Proposals (RFPs),
Excellent writing and editing skills with good command over English, with extensive experience in writing proposals for Custom Technology Solutions and Products.
Ability to interface and coordinate with the Solution Architecture team in documenting appropriate solutions mapped to customer requirements
Should be detail-oriented, customer-focused with ability to successfully manage the proposal lifecycle process under aggressive deadlines
Helping the sales team with Sales presentations based on proposal content and customer requirements
Ensure consistency of all client deliverables by assisting with written content and editing final content, as well as providing strategic editorial feedback on proposal content.
Guide various team members through the response process using current market and competitive intelligence research tools to enable them to clearly communicate impactful messages.
The ideal candidate for this position will have relevant education or experience in business, sales, writing, and editing, as well as an understanding of custom software design & development principles.
The candidate should have basic skills with office productivity software, such as the MS Office suite as well as experience delivering both written and visual messages across the document.
The candidate should also have the demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, meet demanding deadlines, and take ownership of assignments from start to finish.
