The Ocean Product Pricing Analyst will be responsible analyze rate requests by offering best options and service requirements. In this role, you will work closely with the Ocean Product team, Strategic Sales Team, Branch Managers and overseas stakeholders to develop market confirm quotation responses. It is expected that the individual will be able to establish internal and external relationships establishing and maintaining a team approach environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead US National Pricing Opportunities on FCL and LCL
Responsible for Maintaining Quotation Process and follow-up
Responsible for analyze bid team requests for pricing and provide competitive rates and conditions to meet the needs of the customer
Support of the development of the Ocean Product.
Experience in one or more similar position(s) with a (min. 3+ years) preferable experience in Pricing, Tender Management, Customer Service or Ocean operations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must have experience handling and prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities, often requiring strict deadlines
Excellent knowledge of: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Thorough understanding of ocean and ability to understand service carrier contracts.
Comprehensive knowledge of freight forwarding industry, International Ocean transport.
