5+ years experience
Provide support for all Check Point enterprise security products including: Provider-1, Eventia Suite, SmartCenter Server, ClusterXL, SecureXL, VSX, VPN-1 Power/UTM-1, FloodGate-1/QOS, SecureClient, SecuRemote, SmartDefense, VPN-1 Edge, etc. on SecurePlatform, Crossbeam, Nokia, Linux and Windows Platforms.
Perform troubleshooting, installation and configuration of complex security environment, integrating multiple devices, VPN and high availability deployments, and global remote-user populations.
Assisted customers in implementing hotfix after it was deemed ready for production.
Experience in supporting or administering TCP/IP networks, including a strong understanding of routing and switching is desired. Qualified candidates will have excellent skills in troubleshooting complex network environments and devices
The successful candidate must be able to quickly learn new concepts and technologies and to quickly adapt to changes in product and product functionality. Support staff members are also expected to attend company and vendor-sponsored classes and seminars for security products and related technologies.
CheckPoint Firewall experience/certifications a requirement:
o CCSA Check Point Certified Security Administrator
o CCSE Check Point Certified Security Expert
Strong skills in problem solving and ability to work with attention to detail
Excellent both verbal and written English skill set
Able to participate in periodic On-Call assignments
Bluecoat experience is a plus.
Experience in other Firewall products is a plus
Should also be ready for 24*7 support.
