To lead a team of Area Sales Managers across South India
* Shall be responsible for Sales Target for south.Must be able to guide & help the team for entire sales cycle.
* Must be able to use industry contacts to identify, build & close large deals.
* Interact with Sr. members within the organization from Delivery, Support and Commercial to help reduce the sales cycle for the team.
* Will report to Business Development Manager & hence must be able to provide concise, accurate & quick reports and initiate action based on those reports.
* Pushing product into Rural zones.
* Responsible for sales across all channels, i.e wholesale, retail, modern trade
* Extensive touring as and when required
* Category growth = 20%, thus company internal growth to be higher
* Establishing ties with CSAs, Distributors etc
* Will need to oversee distribution of product, to ensure availability across the country
10+ years of experience in Sales of FMCG Products (Non Food items) or Pharmaceuticals. Should be leading a team of 3-4 Area Sales Managers for min 4-5 years.
Should be currently driving/owning team targets.
Should bring in significant industry knowledge & contacts.
Should have strategic level connects within the Distributors community. Should be currently responsible for South India ( preferable) or at least any states contributing significantly to the overall target.
