3-Develop an adequate vendor base for the concept through active scouting and negotiation / renegotiation.
4-Interfacing with suppliers for sourcing of products including analysis of pricing parameters & profit margins, to secure the best interests of the organization.
5-Place orders based on the buying plan and ensure merchandise is delivered as per the plan based on the agreed service level agreement.
6-Ensure that the bottom line is achieved along-with the top line by maximizing the sales potential and minimizing losses from mark downs.
7-Planning of assortment for the next buy on the basis of stock in hand, sales analysis, sales forecast, targets for the coming season.
8-Review and analyze stock / sales reports on daily basis and understand the top sellers in each department / category / group.
9-To monitor inventory and ensuring sufficient stock holdings for each product / category / group / department.
10-Complete ownership of the entire process from sourcing to sales of every product
