Job Description


Ensure adherence to "Hiring On-time" and Quality requirements set by COPC

Ensure the hiring process is compliant to COPC Standards

Ensure all the avenues for resourcing such as websites, recruiting agencies, campus visits and print media are tapped.

Build strong ties with external agencies namely, candidates, recruitment firms and consultants so as to uphold a positive brand image for the company.

To function as a point of escalation, responding to consultant grievances regarding pending invoices or lack of candidate feedback.

Ensure target achievement as agreed upon with the Operations Heads.

Ensure regular interaction with the department heads to understand resource requirements.

Ensure regular interaction with recruitment agencies for sourcing candidates.

Be updated about market trends in resourcing, recruitment strategies adopted by competitors and accordingly plan adequate approaches.

Ensure appropriate avenues of resourcing are tapped for an existing vacancy considering factors such as criticality of the position, time frame and cost of hire etc.

Negotiate on salary, designation and date of joining with candidates, if required.

Create and maintain a database of candidates as a ready reckoner for future reference.

Ensure required referrals are generated through the Employee referral scheme.

Track status of targets to be achieved on a regular basis and maintain an online comprehensive record of the same.

Have clear understanding of the functioning and hierarchy of each department.

Be updated with the current floor strength vis--vis the required-on-floor numbers.

Respond and resolve issues arising out of interactions with Operations/ Clients.

Conduct timely meetings to ensure open communication and devise an action plan to address issues/ concerns raised.

Ensure that vendor invoices are processed as per TAT & aligned to terms of contract.

Ensure that payment reconciliation is completed as per policies.

Ensure that reports are generated as per schedule.

Facilitate meetings with Finance team to solve any issues.

Speak with the vendors on a regular basis and ensure vendor satisfaction.

Empanel new vendors, Issue and renew contracts based on performance.

Vendor performance Analysis

Ensure that the joining formalities are completed for all new joinees on deputation (outsourced vendor payrolls).

Liaise with deputation vendors and ensure that monthly attendance is sent to them on time.

Ensure that the correct break ups are received from the deputation vendor and the same is communicated to the employee.

Ensure that the salaries for contract employees are credited on time.

Update contract employee file on regular basis.

Ensure that payment is made to the deputation vendor on time.

Liaise with the deputation vendor for all queries.

Ensure that the Exit formalities for all contract employees are completed on time and a relieving letter is issued to the exiting employee.

Specific Security Responsibilities:

Ensure reportees comply with the security policy and procedure of IGS

Understand and Comply with Information Security Policies and Procedures, and report all security incidents.

Ensure the audit non-compliances are fixed within the stipulated timelines.

Protect information entrusted to you.

Follow the information labeling and handling procedures based on the classification level of the asset.

Follow the Clear Screen and Clear Desk Policy.

Adhere to the Internet Code of Conduct, email usage policy and customer information and data security policy.

Comply with the Non Disclosure Agreement.


Measure performance of the team for e.g. performance appraisals, confirmation and ongoing feedback and training

Build effective vertical and horizontal communication channels

Provide efficient leadership to the team

To be a role-model for the Team in terms of performance/ behavior/ attitude

Formulate long term plans for the development and motivation of the team

Nominate sub-ordinates for suitable training programs sponsored by the organization to enhance their capabilities and skill level.

Offer cordial work environment and cohesive work relationship to the reportees to facilitate performance.

Coach and mentor sub-ordinates by involving them in decision making process.


Adherence to norms specified by COPC certification and ISO 27001 specifications


Graduate from a recognized Institute / University

Desired: Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources


Minimum 6 years experience in Recruitment's


Exposure to BPO hiring function and search firms


Exposure to interviewing /hiring techniques

Awareness of Knowledge of Labour Laws & Company Laws


Computer Skills:

Familiar with Windows Operating Systems

Proficient in MS Office
