Responsible for creating and executing the DVPs with end to end monitoring the adherence to the same, for all engines/ vehicles durability and emissions at both laboratory as well as on road level. Addressing issues arising thereof to ensure best performance of the engine & vehicle is ensured meeting the durability requirements ,homologation standards, and customer requirements concerned.
Key Thrust Areas/ Job Responsibilities:
Creation and Planning of specific DVPs and Ensuring adherence to all the tests as per DVPs monitoring the conduction of the necessary tests
Compile and Analyze the tests results hence produced and generating & communicating necessary suggestions to the concerned agency (designer or supplier) in collaboration with (routing it through) the platform or project lead
Leading Improvements trials and making necessary suggestions by carrying out Engine / performance improvement tests on dynometer or other specific test set ups.
Staying abreast with the latest concerned homologation norms and coordinate with external agencies like ARAI for ensuring the clearance of the vehicle through all such concerned tests.
Understanding, Analyzing and Addressing all fields complaints and CuFT complaints as received from the customer care team via the project leader
Ensuring satisfactory conduction of Production Vehicle Confirmation Tests and spearhead the troubleshooting of any issues arising thereof
Complete Maintenance of domain test set up and Spearheading the 5S activities involved in the domain area and also deciding upon any kind of procurement related activities involved thereof
Competitor vehicle benchmarking in terms of COE specific parameters from time to time and implement, document and communicate the findings thereof
Creation, compilation, updation, analysis and effective communication of all reports pertaining to validation tests at each step (for all iterations as well as variants opted for), phase (preliminary to CuFT to pre manufacturing to even customer feedback based) and level (component as well as vehicle level) and generation of fitment reports
