Tasks & Responsibilities:
Manage units Project scheduling efforts including Manpower allocation, training, coaching and supervision.
Manage departmental procedures, development and continuous improvement of Project Schedule
Support pre-contract proposal efforts as required - including assistance in responding to customers Project
Management and Project Control requirements, proposal schedule development and Project Controls effort hours estimates for proposal.
Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Estimation, Engineering and Project Management to ensure effective interdepartmental communications with respect to Project Controls related information.
Responsible for development and maintenance of all related procedures and work instructions
Design and define process for Integrated Projects Reports, as combined health profile of execution
Manage and continuously improve Project Schedule Operations. This includes responsibility for:
Development of Project Baseline schedule in consultation and agreement with various Project functions
Project Scope and Deliverables Control
Project Plan and Schedule Control
Project Status Updates and Progress & Performance Reporting
Coordination of Estimate-To-Complete and Cost Forecast information with Project Accounting and financial reporting
Support Project Managers in meeting the Customers Project Controls requirements
Preparation of look-ahead schedule in consultation with Project Management function
To alert various Project Management functions, in advance, to help in maintaining on time performance
To gather information from various functions for periodic updation of schedules including Site Planning & Management
Preparation & Updation of Unit Load Charts
Preparation of catch-up schedules wherever required for maintaining overall schedule
Perform quality checks with respect to procedures and ensure good practice among all team members
Define the process of Key KPIs (related to project execution planning & scheduling) of the Unit as per the managements requirement and ensure its execution
Coordinate, support & facilitate the resource movement process from & to the department.
Education & Trainings: Graduated Engineer preferably Mechanical Engineering.
