Implementing a compelling internal communications and employee engagement strategy across multiple sites with differing cultures. Specifically:
To act as Internal Communications Business Partner to the GBS Global Leadership Team, supporting the development and implementation of worldwide business transformation programs.
To provide strategic guidance and to be a champion for best-practice on all matters relating to internal communications.
To drive sound communications content, building a sense of internal community through sharing of timely, relevant and inspiring news and information via effective internal communication channels.
Responsible for development and implementation of the GBS internal communications strategy globally and challenge the status quo.
Manage the transmission of information with journalistic standards of writing, keeping GBS employees & internal customers informed of the key initiatives in the business and generate positive internal perception.
Engages management in communicating with employees directly and indirectly. In that, the incumbent needs to manage messaging that provides direction, integration and inspiration, whilst offering opportunities to engage, share and challenge.
Develop and lead internal communication governance model that facilitates timely and appropriate sharing of news and information.
Evaluate and monitor the influence of the communication program in hitting key objectives.
Graduate or post graduate in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
Minimum 8 years of experience in PR &/or internal communications field.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience in delivering tactical and strategic communications especially in change/transformation communications within a complex business environment.
A results-driven, an out-of-the-box thinker and solutions-oriented individual adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and embrace working collaboratively with a high- energy group of individuals.
Able to engage, influence and work closely with stakeholders across a diverse audience.
Good knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media. Basic knowledge in multimedia techniques including static graphics, audio narrations, and video production is a plus.
