Currently, we are hiring for Manager/DGM Sales - East region of GAVL based out of Kolkata. This is a Regional Business Head role managing the entire east region.
Key Responsibilities of the role are as below:
Responsible for leading and managing the sales efforts in the region right from target setting & achievement to supporting the team in the role of a mentor and guide .
Responsible for allocating sales plans, designing & implementing SOP'S, forecasting & managing the entire P&L of the region( Includes meeting revenue targets, monitoring resource allocation, managing manpower costing & budgeting etc)
Systematic growth of business by achieving targets in terms of volumes, values and contribution whilst adhering to Company's credit policy norms.
Leading the Sales Team in order to systematically co-ordinate supply chain including logistics, distribution and sales.
Plan the revenue / budget, monitor and control the budget meant for local sales promotion and keep the working capital within the Company norms
Desired Skills and Experience
B. Sc (Agriculture) with MBA / PGDM (Marketing) from leading Indian B schools
7-10 years of relevant Sales experience in in Agro- chemical, Chemicals or FMCG industries ( With atleast 2 years of team leading experience)
Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively in the region
Dynamic, result oriented with proven track record of people skills and leadership skills
Must possess excellent analytical and reasoning skills and be well-versed with business finance and problem solving techniques.
