Key areas of accountability and Key Performance Indicators
a) Monitor the operations of the LDC in the region and ensure it is aligned to the business requirements.
b) Daily tracking of operational performance, analysis of pending volumes for dispatch with reasons and resolving the issues to ensure on time dispatches from LDC
c) Timely submission of provisional claim letters from LDC to Regional Administrator
d) Tracking through Depot managers on the status of delivery of materials to customers and interacting with transport manager on delayed deliveries for corrective actions.
e) Ensuring availability of Proof of Deliveries at LDC as per agreed timelines.
f) Fixed day stock transfer plan from LDC as per agreed frequency.
g) Space planning, management and tracking for LDC
h) Ensuring Van Delivery compliance at LDC
i) Timely actions on clearing non salable stocks in LDC and make it available for sale/disposal actions where applicable as per company policy.
j) LDC operational Costs are controlled within and/or below budgeted parameters.
k) LDC Customer service standards are achieved and continuously improved.
l) Periodic stock verification at the LDC as per company's requirements
m) All human and equipment and resources at LDC are appropriately committed to service the business requirements
n) Manage and Guide the LDC Operational teams.
o) Assess and develop (where appropriate) LDC depot manager to deliver higher performance results.
p) Review with C & F Agent and ensure Health and Safety measures are in place at RDC
q) Appropriately manage all LDC related human and equipment resource requirements
r) Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to, including site / product security.
s) Continuously drive LDC to improve KPIs.
t) Perform other tasks for which the person is trained, qualified and competent to perform, as directed by F & D management.
u) Manage LDC housekeeping standards, ensuring high quality cleanliness.
v) Liaise with internal / external customers as required.
w) Attend out of hours call outs as required.
x) Coordinating for Audits at LDCs by internal / external agencies as per company's Requirements.
Desired Profile :
Candidates from premier institutes with a post graduate degree certification in Supply chain / Logistics are preferred.
