Job Description for IT Lead:
Maintains information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.
IT Infrastructure: Managing the IT infrastructure of the organization, right from hardware to software solutions / services.
Assessing IT requirements of the organization in terms of software, hardware and other peripherals / products, and handle procurement of the same.
Negotiate and approve technology vendor, outsourcing, and consultant contracts and service agreements.
Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
Team management: Take part in planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
Study and understand the Insurance industry in-depth in order to provide relevant technical recommendations.
Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
Contributes to overall team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Be open to support all teams and all branches within Prudent as and when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
