Purpose of the job:
To provide HR business partner support to the plant management team and other line mangers in order to create an effective, sustainable plant operation.
To support each function in the achievement of their business objectives through executing on the appropriate people strategy issues talent, engagement, workforce planning, etc.
To ensure the delivery of HR Services to employees within this population
To drive Building a Winning Organisation measures and initiatives to support a Company approach
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Responsible for improving employee relations, implementation of performance development programmes and administration of pay, benefits, health and safety.
Recruitment for all shop floor employees
Recruitment for managerial positions in conjunction with departmental managers
Organisational development/management of change
Day to day industrial relations (if appropriate)
Local management support
Monitor absence in conjunction with Management
Co-ordination of performance appraisal for management team and all shop floor employees together with the necessary training and development to support personal and organisational growth. Monitor progression
Development and monitoring of employee remuneration packages
Set up and administration of effective payroll systems/practices for all employees
Management of the total employee life cycle
Monitoring of temporary staff and over time budgets
Support in risk assessment in conjunction with Health and Safety Manager
Ensure all visitors and temporary staff are aware of the plants health and safety requirements and, if necessary, complete a Health and safety induction.
Provide HR support and advice within the plant management team
Ad hoc project work as required
Plant Management, Employees, AMEA Sector HR and Operations Director, other Plant HR Managers
Essential : HR background with specific experience in HR Business Partnering or Talent and OD.
Good exposure in People Development, HR process, Industrial Relations
Desirable: Knowledge and understanding of working within Indian business operating environment and local legislation
Experience in a start up operation

To work closely with HR Head who sits at corporate office, Navi Mumbai.
Must be qualified HR professional with Minimum 7 years of experience. Must have the idea of green field/brownfield projects.
Must be from Engineering/Manufacturing companies.
Must have the experience of dealing with labor.
Must be willing to work at Plat which is 55km from Chennai.
Age not more than 35 years.
Must be fluent in English, Hindi, and Tamil/Telugu
