Having established as one of the strong players in the Microfinance Industry, Ujjivan is looking at next phase growth through expansion to other products like Individual Loans, Housing and Live-stock loans. The role of HR Manager - Performance Management System is to lead and facilitate activities related to PMS and Talent development processes. And to bench mark industry best practices to help drive productivity based performance across India.
Job Responsibilities :
To have a good understating of PMS practices, process and administration in a distributed environment;
To administer and monitor the performance appraisal process as per the requirement of the organization;
To lead a one-time initiative in mapping the manual process onto an online process and ensure completion within these specific timelines;
To conduct/ facilitate training on the appraisal process as and when required - training would be for end-users or / and for building a cadre of internal trainers;
To support the regional teams in defining the KRA as per the guidelines specified;
To build and administer a communication process wherein from announcement of appraisal process, status tracking to process completion feedback / learning's are shared with various stakeholders in the organization is undertaken;
To conduct rationalization process in consultation with the regional business heads and Regional HR Managers;
To institute a process for talent development initiatives like Hi-Pot identification, career development plans (IDP's), succession planning, assessment centers and such initiatives as required;
To ensure and support identification of competency/skills gaps such that they are addressed through interventions like training, job rotations, project assignments and so forth;
To use/develop tools like job profiling, competency maps, job banding/evaluation as appropriate to build Leadership pipeline for the organization;
To have a good understanding of potential evaluation using psychometric tools;
Participate in other organizational initiatives to ensure Ujjivan's commitment to "Great Place to Work".
Graduation (any stream);
Post Graduation - PGDM/ MBA (full time /part time) in HR/Personnel management;
Certificate course on PMS, Psychometric tools will be an added advantage.
Skills Required :
Good understanding of PMS process and development tools applicable to the service sector;
Comprehensive knowledge of development tools like job profiling, competency maps, job banding/evaluation as
appropriate to build Leadership pipeline;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good flair for creativity and initiative;
Ability to add value at strategic level, requiring to work proactively with Ujjivan's National Leadership Team;
High levels of interpersonal skills and ability to work with a distributed HR team;
Ability to connect well with Ujjivan's strategic partners who support in driving the business strategy and growth objectives;
Fair IT skills with good exposure to document management skills, HRIS systems and processes will be of great advantage.
Overall of 7 to 8 years of experience with 3+ years of experience in PMS and Talent development process.
