Job Description

Role Description
To oversee implementation of all aspects of Human Resource management (for end to end employee
lifecycle) like Performance Management, Employee Engagement activities, Exit Management, etc.
The role holder would also be responsible for providing strategic direction for HR Operations,
Organization Development (OD) interventions and Internal Communication in line with the Organizations
vision and business plans and executing the HR strategy for the Organization
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Design and Implementation
Provide relevant inputs to Head, HR and Training in creating HR strategy for the organization
Provide inputs for overall Department budget (HR and Training); Monitor adherence to the same
Support in negotiations with external consultants, training delivery agencies, Office service
provider agencies etc. for optimizing costs for various activities of HR Operations
Performance Management
Ensure timely implementation of Performance Management and Development Planning system in
the organization
Coordinate with HRM- Deputation to finalize required education/ training/ workshops to
employees and managers on various aspects of Performance Management like Counselling,
Feedback etc.
Provide inputs to department heads/ Head, HR & Training on decisions pertinent to improvement
of system; compensation revisions/ increments/ variable pay; growth plans (promotion/ fast track
etc) etc
Support Department Head in execution of succession planning activity for the Organization
Organization Development
Monitor employee engagement levels and conceptualize the employee engagement related
interventions (like Fun at work initiative etc) in collaboration with HRM- Deputation to enhance
engagement levels
Ensure conduct of exit interviews; Analyze talent attrition trends and suggest appropriate plan of
Collaborate with HRM- Deputation to design and implement OD interventions based on need of
organization from time to time; Recommend improvements (if any) in the existing interventions
Collaborate with Internal Corporate Communication team for timely roll out of various internal
communication mechanisms (like quarterly magazine, newsletter, etc)
Collaborate with Internal Corporate Communication to launch initiatives towards building
employer brand for the organization
HR Operations
Suggest innovative platforms for capturing and resolving employee issues and concerns like
helpdesk, discussion panels, online portals etc; Identify and implement the opportunities for
automation of HR processes
Monitor various metrics associated with HR processes and analyze the same for cost/ quality
Coordinate with HRM- Deputation to drive implementation of SOPs for all activities of the
Department including defining turn-around-time (TATs) to ensure consistency and standardization
of HR processes; Ensure adherence to SLAs and timelines for HR processes such as employee
leave, attendance, etc
Stay abreast with various legal and statutory requirements that the employees are required to be
adhered to; Guide site teams on the same whenever required
Stay abreast of the global best practices and policies in the various HR systems and identify
select practices that can be implemented in the Organization
Ensure efficient communication of all employee related policies and procedures of the
Organization and establish mechanisms for effective employee grievance redressal
Ensure implementation of HR policies and processes to ensure alignment to employee needs
Compensation and Benefits
Coordinate with HRM- Deputation to finalize and direct the implementation of Compensation and
Rewards initiatives such as Variable Pay Plan, increments etc.; facilitate the annual increment
Continuously benchmark for the latest industry trends in the area of Rewards and Compensation
and implement the best-practices in the Organization
Ensure timely provision of relevant information and updates to the payroll team for timely
processing of salaries and reimbursement processes
People Development
Take an active role in recruitment of incumbents into own team
Conduct formal performance appraisal and provide developmental feedback for own team
Identify training needs of subordinates and provide functional training inputs through internal and
external sources
Ensure timely preparation of MIS and Status Updates for circulation to the Top Management and
other authorities as may be required

Key Attributes & Skills:
Degree or diploma in HR with around 8- 12 years of experience across various domains of the
HR function
