To be responsible for the overall coordination, collaborative planning, implementation, execution, control & completion of the design and engineering activities (ESP and Bag filter Orders) ensuring consistency with the divisional strategy, commitments & goals.
Lead the planning & implementation engineering releases in line with Project requirements.
Knowledge of content of design codes like IBR, ASME, BS, API & their application for mechanical design calculations / Stress Analysis
Plan and implementation of improvement projects such as Opex, Ever lean, Design Cycle time reduction, Product & Component development etc.
Knowledge of layouts, routings, & design changes is a must
On time delivery as per agreed timelines.
Control on miss outs, errors in design and drawing.
Ability to analyze problems presented
Application of acquired technical knowledge
Ability to handle engineering subcontractors
Eagerness to learn/ gather relevant technical knowledge
Ability to influence members from various departments
Strong knowledge about Thermal & Mechanical Design of Air Pollution Control equipment , Material Handling Equipments, Process Equipments, Heat Exchangers, Boilers, Etc.
Knowledge of Indiana and International Standards such as IS, BS, ASME Codes, etc.
Knowledge of Design Depts procedures and processes.
Knowledge of quality management and standards
Ability to handle the consultants & customers queries, conflicts and complaints.
Working Knowledge of ERP Systems.
