Job Description

The National Parts Manager is responsible for all facets related to the import procurement, stocking, supply and sales of Parts in Tanzania. The role requires a hands on approach in inventory management, supply chain management and achievement of budgeted income and expense targets.

The role will require managing a team of Parts personnel in roles including but not limited to; Store keepers in warehouse, an Administration Team and a Sales Team inclusive of a Dealer network.

Key roles and responsibilities:
STOCK MANAGEMENT
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
NEW BUSINESS GENERATION
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
Minimum of 10 years experience in automotive Parts industry with a minimum of 5 years at management level, preferably with Toyota distributor.
Age 35-50
Fluent in verbal and written English
Ability to lead and motivate a team of 20 people
Strong sales planning and strategy skills
Hardworking, confident, determined and proactive attitude
Strong communication skills
Proactive and inquisitive approach
Conversant with use of ERPs and other software used in Parts Management
Computer literate: competent in using MS Office, Outlook and ability to learn new software systems. We use ADP system currently
Understanding of logistics and Operations unique to East African Environment.
