Job Description

Position Summary
Lead the Merchant Verticals team to ideate, design, and manage solutions or product portfolio for verticals like restaurant, retail, pharmacy, including point of sale / mobile point of sale and payment gateway
Own entire life cycle for merchant verticals-based products/solutions and services

Role Description
Product Excellence
Lead the creation of a highly functional product portfolio by translating the organizations vision in to clear road map
Analyze market research and intelligence data to identify consumer needs and incorporate into merchant vertical solutions/product portfolio
Advise the Central Leadership Team on current performance, opportunities and challenges in the merchant verticals portfolio
Manage product delivery and commercialization, create product documentation, track and report product performance
Lead the user experience team to create strong, user-friendly products
Collaborate with the various teams while conceptualizing the products to build products that meet the Risk, Compliance and Regulatory needs
Manage issues throughout the product development process including problem identification, root cause analysis, and stakeholder communication
Create and manage merchant verticals solutions/product P&L; develop meaningful and accurate reporting to demonstrate product progress
Apply deep understanding of merchant verticals along with their expectations and behaviours to optimize experiences
Formulate strategies to identify, evolve needs, establish processes to ensure unique product channels are integrated;
Evaluate market research, customer feedback and industry trends to continuously identify opportunities for evolving and refining the organization offerings and strategies

Lead and grow the development of merchant verticals department and/or organization through both product domain leadership and organization leadership
Own and drive business growth through merchant verticals products that strategically cater to the needs of various merchant verticals segments
Participate as part of the executive leadership team working across the enterprise on corporate priorities and initiatives
Establish relationships a matrix organization: across various stakeholders.
Establish and implement standards of performance, policies and procedures and make policy changes as necessary
Strategically lead budgeting and resource planning for the Merchant Verticals department in collaboration with the Central Leadership team and the Finance team
Continually monitor and improve the overall performance of the Merchant Verticals department
Play a significant role in long-term planning and product pipeline, with the view to delivering operational excellence

Minimum qualifications
Education: MBA or equivalent from a Top Tier Institute
Experience: 15+ years of experience in similar industry
