The incumbent will Lead the HR Department for 14 manufacturing / assembly plants across India. His KRAs will include the following:
Develop and implement HR plan including manpower planning, attracting and retaining talent, performance management, training and development, individual development planning for management employees IN ORDER TO support the business objectives.
Systems and Processes Deployment & Regulation
Implement and monitor deployment of the corporate HR processes and system (Recruiting, PMS, Reward and Recognition, ESS, C&B, IDP, TBEM, HR ERP), Provide comprehensive advise on HR processes to management employees, strive for excellence in deployment of processes, provide inputs to corporate HR on issues related to processes IN ORDER TO facilitate smooth operation of HR processes at the Business Unit.
Provide employee relation framework for the business unit aligned with corporate HR guidelines, including employing, managing, establishing communication channels, benchmarking employment terms of workmen across industries, negotiating with workmen representatives on personnel issues, monitoring implementation of long-term settlements IN ORDER TO ensure that harmonious relationships between management and workmen.
Monitor compliance of different statutes such as health & safety norms, SOX, and other legal matters, acquire certification from concerned bodies, liaise with concerned authorities and represent company in various forums IN ORDER TO ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Supervise all administration related activities like security, canteen, estate management, ensure service level commitment and adherence to statutes and ensure smooth operations and positive work environment.
Instruct the HR & Administration team on policies and processes, Set goals jointly with the team member, Evaluate performance and provide feedback, Identify training needs and provide training IN ORDER TO build capability and enhance effectiveness of the team
Licenses and Health and Safety Issues
Maintain health and safety standards and issue protocols and guidelines, define measures and methods to reduce the occurrence of accidents on the shop floor, maintain safe practices in the plant and promote employee safety.
Must be a Full time MSW / MBA (HR) from a Reputed college
Ideal candidate would be currently heading the Plant HR & ER for atleast 1- 2 large Plants either as the Head or as a No. 2 in the Plant HR Function preferably in the Auto Tier -1 Group or with an Auto OEM.
Significant current experience would be in Plant related HR/ IR.
Written and Spoken Knowledge of Marathi would be a definite advantage.
Excellent communication and inter personal skills is definitely needed for this role.
Pedigree of experience encompassing Change Management, OD, Cultural reforms within a large manufacturing with experienced workforce would be preferred, but not a must.
Proven track record of Leading and Driving Negotiation and Settlements with Union is mandatory.
Out of the box thinker and problem solving capability
Ability to manage multiple plants at different geographic locations.
Less than 45 years of age preferred but not restricted.
Open to travel if required.
