Job Description

Branding Strategies (Plans& Implementation):
To analyze various factors like brand sales & market information etc. for generating the information needed for arriving at long term and short term brand strategies.
To track brand performance/brand review through sales analysis/cost and profitability analysis.
Advertising& Promotion:
To coordinate with advertising agencies for implementation and execution of communication / media/ promotional plans based on product positioning/promotional strategies.
To develop promotional tools (Leaflet, Posters, POP) in coordination with advertising agencies, zonal marketing managers & sales teams and ensuring timely dispatches of promotional materials.
To source& develop the vendors for promotional materials.
To monitor and rationalize advertising & promotion spends.
Packaging:
To coordinate with various agencies, production plants, zonal marketing managers, purchase department for packaging of new products and changing or correcting packaging of already existing products.
Pricing and Profitability Management:
To work out pricing for existing/ new products in coordination with costing department, sales & distribution and market research.
To track prices / net realized value/ contributions of products / stock keeping units (skus) on quarterly basis and work on keeping them as budgeted.
New Product Launch:
To make launching plan for new products viz. segmentation, positioning, brand name, packaging, advertising, micro-level planning for easy and successful take off.
Market Research:
To execute market research projects in coordination with market research agencies.
To collect and analyze performance data of our products for benefit-cost analysis, customers preferences of our products vis. a vis. competitors, swot of products, future purchase intentions of customers, perceived value of our products to customers etc.
To track competition activities by collation of data / information from various sources like sales force, market visits, published data, etc. and preparing & sharing reports.
Inventory Management:
To keep watch on Inventory at depot level of products and make plans to rationalize it.
