Job Description

General Management

Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing a climate for offering information and opinions.
Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, sales & marketing, technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with ACD senior functional managers.
Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing professional business practices.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Operational Management

Operational coordination and effective execution of India supply chain, including Vapi production to be in line and coordinated closely with both local and global commercial forecasting.
Best practice implementation in area of manufacturing, operation, logistical and forecasting.
Drive and coordinate all local India based activities for new business development, including process management of R&D projects to plant production to market introduction.
To ensure that tactical plans are clearly understood, implemented and executed by both R&D, S&M and operational teams.

Aroma Chemicals Division Management Team

To play a full role in the Aroma Chemicals Management Team contributing to overall strategy outline, commercial / operations / finance decisions on issues such as major product pricing strategies, major contract pricing parameters, major capital investments, outsourcing, source of supply, customer service, etc.

Good understanding and experience with SAP is an advantage
