Job Description

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

- Be able to clearly coordinate and assist in managing the stakeholder requirements within the design team and similarly communicate the design team requirements and objectives with the specific statutory authority/stakeholder;
- Monitor and report on the status of approvals in line with the project deliverable to the Stakeholder Manager and team;
- Ensure that the correct procedures and processes are applied when making submissions to the particular statutory authority/stakeholder;
- An organized and methodical individual in their approach in dealing with the specific statutory authority/stakeholder and subsequently file and store information;
- Able to coordinate and communicate with the contractor to ensure that statutory authority/stakeholder requirements are incorporated where required;
- Be able to negotiate with the individual statutory authority/stakeholder

Candidate Specification:

The candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:

- Have a Degree in Civil Engineering or similar with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience
- Able to confidently and clearly communicate in both English and Arabic;
- Have experience of working on Highway projects in preferably in Qatar
- Have knowledge in dealing with the approval process for Roads, Bridges and Utility Designs with the specific statutory authority/stakeholder in Qatar;
- Able to follow and act on instructions;
- Candidate to ideally have Qatar Driving licenses and be prepared to drive in Qatar
- Candidate should be organized in his day to day duties;
- Able to foresee any issues and communicate it to the Stakeholder Manager;
- Ability to work on own initiative without supervision and drive approvals
- Ability to work under pressure.
