Job Purpose:

To give effective credit support for meeting the business targets.
To review memos pertaining to Enterprise Banking segment originating from West, including review of those to be approved by SCRM / ECRM.
To approve memos as per DOA judiciously.
Ensuring that quality of Bank's credit exposure in India is acceptable at all time.
Provide guidance to the team of credit managers in the area.
Manage the portfolio, through comprehensive portfolio information and triggers, to ensure it maintains its intended risks and return profile
Key Accountabilities:

To use credit analysis techniques, which highlight all significant risks in relation to a lending proposition, for evaluation and recommendation of the proposals for the enterprise banking customers.
To keep track of delinquency levels and ensuring that requisite follow up is being done with front end to ensure that overdues are regularised in a time bound manner.
To have a sound knowledge of the Indian market in general and western market in particular in terms of risks associated with industries, companies and products.
To apply knowledge of RBI Regulations/ MAS Guidelines that govern credit dispensation, including the Loan Grading, Provisioning and Asset Classification regulations.
To have a working knowledge of the general Legal framework in which the bank operates in India and apply the same
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Review / Approve memos originating from West
Portfolio monitoring / tracking & escalation of adverse new events in company / industry.
Ensure meticulous compliance with Bank's internal credit policy as well as regulatory guidelines.
Ensure compliance with the benchmark Turnaround Time.
Ensure proper guidance / support to the team of Credit Managers
Desired Skills and Experience
MBA / CA with minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Bank preferably in SME or Credit department
Working experience in Credit Rating organisation shall also be preferred
Must have sound domain knowledge of SME Segment & Market
Sound knowledge of financial statement analysis and accounting policies/practices.
Good knowledge of credit evaluation methods, tools & techniques
Sound understanding of regulatory guidelines on credit issued by RBI (local regulations in India), MAS and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general
Knowledge of various banking products and risks associated with them
