Job Description

Reporting to : Functional Reporting - GM Marketing Accounts
Administrative Reporting Zonal Heads

Location : Pune

Job Role :

Set Credit Limits as per guidelines set by head marketing accounts in consultation with ZH/RH/AM
Monitor working capital ratios of dealers in the zone
Refer exceptions along with facts, assessment and recommendation to the head marketing accounts
Study Balance Sheet of key dealers and visit them to audit the Retail /Deliveries and Expenses
Monitor ratios of high risk dealers and chart action plan/monitor for improving ratios
Track Exposure and advances of high risk dealers for recovery
Tie up with Commercial Banks/Gramin Banks
Assist Credit Team/ DWCM team in delivering the objectives : Viz process review / Roll out of financial products , resolution of issues of bankers , utilization and repayment of channel finance products etc.
Ensure renewal of bank guarantees for dealers in the zone by personal follow up.
Proactively provide early warning signal in respect of financial position / business prospects of any Dealer.
Monitor securitization and provide support for new BGs and BG enhancements
Provide necessary financial reports to area office /AM/ZH for decision making


Other

Expense Budgeting and monitoring of actuals
Review compliance with internal controls on purchases, payments, incentives, promotion spends, bank reconciliations, dealers reconciliations, in the Area Offices under the Zone. stock yard stock reconciliations as per SAP and actual stock
Provide counsel to Zonal Managers & Area Managers in respect of Commercial issues including Expenses control, Working Capital Management, Credit and resolution of issues / claims raised by Dealers
Groom and develop Area office Accountants.
Carry out / arrange Audits of Area Offices /Stock Yards / Dealers etc and ensure reconciliation of Accounts with Dealers.
Audit of area offices as per guidelines of GM Accounts
Ensure operational discipline

Qualification & Experience

CA/MBA or M.Com + LLB with 5 yrs Post Qualification Exp. Preferably in Sales Accounting

Area Office Accountants will functionally report to ZCM and administratively report to AM.
