Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

Ensure the forecasted project margin is met or exceeded
Oversee the preparation of cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and prepare cash-flow statements
Provide input for financial reports to Executive Management Team
Undertake cost planning and budgeting providing cost control for the project, including the use of alternative construction methods or use of materials
Ensure site supervisory staff are aware of the project's scope of works and inclusions in tender packages
Oversee all contracts and documentation for inclusion in tender packages and obtain approval from all parties
Negotiate contractual terms with sub-contractors, consultants and suppliers
Monitor and review the performance of direct reports and provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to the project management team
Liaise with client regarding progress claims to Head Contract
Day-to-day administration of contract terms and conditions

Together with at least 10 years in Tier 1 Indian or International contracting company, your qualifications and experience will include:

Bachelor degree - Building, Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying or similar
The ability to read plans and drawings
Experience in Quantity Surveying/Estimating
Understanding of contracts and legal issues pertaining to contracts
Knowledge of tender processes
Financial understanding and knowledge of construction costs
