End to end planning and execution of projects (Eg: propensity to buy model, customer segmentation etc.) through structured problem solving.
Working with cutting edge tools like R, SQL, Python/Java etc. on unstructured data and arriving at the best approach to execute projects efficiently.
Mastering the fast evolving data structure and infrastructure; Understanding constraints and trouble-shooting to arrive at workarounds when required.
Understanding the retail, loyalty and organizational business and relate them with delivery.
Co-ordinating with stakeholders in the business and delivering independently along with guiding junior team members.
1-5 years of experience in business analytics, preferably in retail sector from leading analytics companies like Dunhumby, Inductis, Mu Sigma, Fractal, Amex etc.
Exposure to working on end to end analytical projects through structured problem solving.
Strong analytical and programming skills (SQL, R/SAS and Excel).
Ability and willingness to adapt to a fast changing technological environment and learn new tools quickly
Strong sense of initiative with go-getter attitude.
Ability to structure problems through logical thinking and interpret data meaningfully
Exposure to usage of statistical techniques in projects is preferred.
Ability to co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders along with guiding junior team members.
Undergraduate engineering, preferably from a premier institute with good academic record
