The Marketing head is responsible for the development and execution of all the Marketing and Sales initiatives of the business including Communication. The marketing head will work on product development, pricing, channel development, all promotional activities, market research and customer experience management. In addition to consumer marketing, the marketing head oversees location and restaurant sign ups (business development). The Marketing head is also expected to establish Atchayam as a well recognized brand for high quality and hygienic food in the country
A key result area of this function is meeting footfall targets at all the outlets and ensuring a high level of conversion into purchases.
Perform market research to understand the addressable market. Based on the market input, adjust the product / service design, pricing and promotional strategies.
Develop and manage the sales and marketing strategies to achieve the sale numbers for the existing and new stores. The Marketing Head is solely responsible for the top-line of the business.
Develop a marketing plan and budget to achieve the targets and execute the plan with the assistance of agencies.
Develop an aggressive media plan for the store launches and also to keep the market excited about the service on an ongoing basis.
Continuously develop the brand and enhance the brand image for the Foodbox stores and service.
Find newer avenues and markets to apply the Foodbox stores and the technology to help with rapid expansion.
Oversee the identification and sign up of new store locations
Sets up the core marketing team and manage, coach and mentor the team.
Desired qualifications and experience
Masters degree in Business with specialization in marketing
Prior experience in a sales and marketing role in the retail, FMCG, Telecom or or Food and Beverages Industry
Strong track record of running both digital marketing and offline marketing campaigns.
8+ years of overall experience
