Job Description

To look after all types of matters under intellectual property rights laws, civil, criminal, consumer and industrial laws.

* Drafting/ preparing letters, correspondence, legal notices, reply to notices, claims, petitions, suits and or written statements to the suits, affidavits in evidence and all other necessary applications and reply thereof within legal purview.

* To collect all related documents, information and thereby analyze the matter, briefing the same to Advocates, Solicitors, counsels across India and to form different strategy for each matter.

* To conduct legal research for each different case and on issues involved therein.

* Drafting and vetting of agreements/contracts, to interpret the complex clauses and to form opinion on the same and advice accordingly.

* Maintain track of registration and renewal of all domestic as well as foreign trademarks, designs, patents etc.

* To take all possible steps to safeguard the intellectual rights of the company by filling or defending the suits, appeals in various courts and cancellation/rectification proceedings at trademark registries and IPAB across the country and abroad.

* To keep follow-up of all domestic and foreign opposition/ cancellation/rectification proceedings.

* To look after all criminal cases filed under PFA Act and FSS Act across the country.

* To arrange the seminars of the staff members, advice/guide them about all the legal situations and consequences they are concerned with.

* To ensure statutory compliance and document Management thereof.
