Analytics provides support to various business groups and the job involves data analysis, model and strategy development and implementation, reporting and data management.
This role applies to Analytics function supporting various marketing and risk management activities.Develop strategies to support risk decisions across the customer lifecycle (new customer origination, customer management, collections).
Provide analytical and strategy support to risk function.
End to end project management & hands on delivery when required.
Providing high-quality analysis and strategy recommendations to business problems.
Manage delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards.
Lead teams on specific projects
Interact with senior stakeholders globally
The analytics team is expected to meander through the same and continue to provide best quality solutions as relevant to the need.
Depending on the team size, there could be some people management related challenges which the incumbent would need to address and resolve.
Extensive exposure into SAS and various modelling techniques viz forecasting,logistic regression.
Development of various risk models viz PD,LGD,EAD
Market mix modeling,pricing analytics,customer lifecycle etc.

3+ years proven business/marketing analysis or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial services preferred.
Bachelors degree in mathematics/ statistics/ economics/business or equivalent experience; Masters degree preferred.
Able to convert unstructured business requirements into structured analytical plans
Has wide range of applied analytics experience
Should be a good team player
Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.
Proven managerial track record
Proven offshore client management track record
Experience in retail risk strategy building anywhere across the customer life cycle (originations->customer management->collections)
Prior experience in portfolio / retail risk management will be a plus
