The person holding this position is responsible for the sales & account management of one of our key customer in the South Asia zone. His objectives will be to optimize sales profitability, maintain close relationships with key decision-makers at clients, and influence development projects.
This position reports to the Senior Regional Director of the Key Account; and is based out of Mumbai.
Develops, communicate and implements account strategy in alignment with overall business objectives, in order to maximize sales targets and exploit business opportunities;
Translates customer requirements and manages customer expectations by effective communication and ultimate selection & submission of winning fragrances;
Maintains and builds knowledge of customer's industry, products, and markets to target opportunities; monitor competitor activities.
Educates client regarding company's products and technologies;
Provides ongoing customer support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction;
Responsible for relationship building with client at all levels (from assistant to VP), be it in Marketing, Consumer Insight, R&D, or Supply Chain level.
Develops sales forecasts and controls expenses in line with budget;
Desired Profile Professional Experience:
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of sales, marketing or business experience, ideally in the industries of Fragrance, Commodity Chemicals or FMCG (but not restricted to).
