The Systems Analyst will apply knowledge to develop detailed systems requirements in support of the inputs, outputs and effort required for our reporting systems. Ultimately, this position will seek to deliver a solution to the business that will combine all data sources into one central repository to facilitate easy report creation to track key business metrics.
The System Analyst will need to align business and IT requirements to support successful delivery and sustainability. Furthermore, the System Analyst will need to closely interface with the Command center team to define requirements and develop an action plan. This role will have responsibilities in all aspects of the process including, but not limited to, system requirements, implementation plans, and coordination requiring a technical background to support development and delivery teams.
Key activities include translating business requirements into detailed system specifications and creating artifacts such as use cases, process flow charts and diagrams that articulate proposed changes to both business and technical audiences.
Analyze business and technical requirements, validate traceability, reduce complexity, and increase sustainability of deliverables.
Hands-on programming/coding for code reviews, analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting, reverse-engineering, etc.
Responsible for documentation, analysis, presentation, and modeling within proper context in order to effectively transfer knowledge and information across diverse audience.
Provide sufficient documentation to support knowledge retention over time, transcending team generation turnover.
